Celebrating the love you have for one another is a magical moment, and for many of you it's probably something you have thought about long before you said yes to the one that you fell helplessly in love with. I want to photograph the moments that are most import to you while telling your story; the ceremony, portraits and candid's, celebrating with friends and family, the dancing, etc. Your wedding day photography shouldn't just be captured digitally, you should also have something you can hold onto or see up on a wall or bookshelf too. Something that you can open or view while reliving that moment in time as you recall the fun of the day, those cherished moments you shared not just with one another but with those that are closest to you, as you remember why you fell in love in the first place. I'm here to capture your wedding day story while providing digital images that you can print and share wherever you like, but I also offer or include other types of professionally printed mediums so that you do have something beautiful to have and or to hold as well; i.e. memory books, beautiful wedding albums, wall art, and large and small professional prints. I'm here to assist you in choosing the right kind of collection for you as we talk about what is most important to you and your wedding day story. Portrait Sessions
When I'm not photographing weddings, this is what you will often see me doing. With several investment options for a portrait session, I would like to talk about how I may do things a little different than some other photographers. As a professional photographer, I really want you to also have some professional print options (in addition to selected digitals) so that you have some absolutely amazing pieces to enjoy years later without the need of a cellphone, tablet, or computer. You should have something you can hold onto or actually see up on your wall, counter top, etc. Your most favorite images really do need to be printed using professional services so that your favorite images look absolutely their best. My portrait session fee's usually include your photo session, online gallery, basic retouching, color grading, a select amount of digital images, a print release, along with some beautiful professional print options either included or as an added option. My collections do include retouched digital images based on the collection you choose. We work together to create a fun and personal experience tailored for you while creating a variety of options to choose from for your selected collection. Let's have some fun and photograph your cherished moments to have now and for many many years later. Other portrait sessions such as family photography etc. maybe available upon request.

What is my style... Weddings?
Creating authentic, meaningful, and fun memories that you don't want to forget during your wedding day. I love capturing photojournalist story telling moments of the day during a wedding, especially the human interactions.
What is photojournalist wedding photography? It's about capturing the moments as they really are. It captures genuine moments and feelings as they are happening throughout the wedding day. Leaving you with authentic real moments that are more true to who you and those around you really are. Sure, sometimes they are slightly provoked or posed but most are captured just as they happen, leaving you with beautiful story telling images and moments to remember. I want you to remember how you felt and the memories from the day, not how you were posed.
How much is it to book a wedding?
Booking your wedding will require a non-refundable booking retainer fee that's usually about half of the Collection you choose to reserve your day/time. The remaining balance is due a month before your wedding day. Need to work with payments? Let me know and I will see what I can do. Additional fee's may apply depending travel or other added add-on's to your Collection etc..
What is considered a portrait session?
These are designed for senior pictures, engagement sessions, and couples sessions. Other options like family photos, etc. may apply, ask for details. Depending on certain situations or other add-on's, extra fee's may be added. Collections have a non-refundable booking retainer fee to save the date/time and the remaining balance is due by the beginning of the photo session.
What is my style... for Portraits?
Combining your style and personality! I love creating fun, natural, beautiful, and editorial style of images. Then again, moody, or more dramatic images are just as beautiful and fun too. Working together, we create captivating images while still capturing your style and your moments. It's more about talking to see what you’re wanting and then going from there combining our ideas together.
What if I feel awkward when posing for photos?
We have all been there, unless your a professional model! My goal is to work with you so that not only do you look amazing, but to allow you to still be you. I will help pose you but often its more like directing. Seeing what you do naturally and then going from there. Often a "posed" image can look more natural than you might think just with a little directing.
Has your work been featured anywhere or won any awards?
Yes, I have images published in four different magazines for my portraiture work. I have also won several awards in print competitions locally in both portrait and wedding photography. I have been featured on WeddingChicks.com and Visual Flow, and even other blogs like in SLR Lounge featuring my images and helping other photographers or working with clients.
However, my biggest reward has come from the time I spend with my clients while getting to know them a little bit and of course seeing my client’s expressions when they see their images and when I deliver their beautiful products. - These moments are the best awards ever.
Can I extend the session on the day of?
If time permits as well as me being available, then yes. Additional portrait session time is $50.00 per half hour rounded up and due at the end of the session. Weddings start at $300 per hour to extend coverage if available.
Do I have to order prints through you?
While most collections come with a print release so that you can go wherever you like, it's highly recommended that you print through me. With that said, most of my collections come with some sort of print option/s to get you started. If you choose to order additional items, 50% down needs to be paid up front with the remaining balance due upon delivery.
